World’s first fully solar-powered train started to operate

In December 2017, the Byron Bay Railroad Company (BBRC) started to run the world’s first fully solar-powered train in New South Wales, Australia. The route is 3 km long connecting Byron Bay’s city centre and the North Beach district.
