40th French Auction - Auction GOs traded at premium to EU OTC GOs

EEX held the 40th auction for Guarantees of Origin (GOs), with the book opening on 11 January 2022 and order matching on 18 January 2022 for October 2022 production GOs. 

A total of 3 612 TWh of supported RES-E GOs were auctioned, an increase of 401 GWh (+13%) compared to the previous auctioned volume. As usual, all offered volumes were sold. Wind GOs represented around 68% of the total auctioned volume, with a 46% increase in auctioned volumes compared to the previous auction.
