Hydrological balance in Scandinavia

The hydrological balance, which measures the energy stored in soil, snow and reservoirs, have returned to positive territory for the first time since the end of June. The current estimated hydro balance is 4.5 TWh above normal. This includes a rather wet weather forecast for the coming ten days (ECMWF).

The reservoirs in Norway, Sweden and Finland were slightly below normal in week 37. The numbers are expected to be above normal next week (week 39).
