As part of our Monthly updates, we today release the Nordic Hydro GO Update for the month of January 2023.
2022 and 2023 vintages of Nordic Hydro have experienced higher activity compared to the previous month. At the end of November, the prices almost reached 10 EUR/MWh before dropping by 35% to around 6.5 EUR/MWh until the end of the year. For January the changes have been the following: +75 Eurocents/MWh for the 2022 vintage (+10%), +60 Eurocents/MWh for the 2023 vintage (+8%), and +124 Eurocents/MWh (20.8%) for the 2024 vintage.
The VWAP monthly price has increased from December to January, furthermore, except for November, the price is higher than all the other months since the beginning of 2022.
