EY Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index ranks France as top three

The renewable energy sector is entering a new phase of subsidy-free growth across the world, according to the 53rd EY Renewable Energy Country Attractiveness Index (RECAI).

The index ranks France on third place (behind Chana and the US), up from 5th place. The move has been led by a new focus on floating offshore wind capacity and a doubling of its annual targets for onshore wind capacity additions. Germany fell from 4th to 6th place.
