Mercedes-Benz Cars signs German wind PPA with Statkraft

Mercedes Benz cars has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Statkraft to purchase renewable electricity generated at six wind farms in Lower Saxony, as these plants come to the end of their 20-year subsidy agreements under Germany’s renewable energy act (EEG) 2000 (Click here to read more about the amount of expected post EEG renewable power to enter the market).
