The price correction in October was coupled with fewer trades than normal. Nordic Hydro saw 62.5% less volumes traded compared to October 2017. The Greenfact market index for Nordic Hydro fell by 125 points from 381 at the start of October to 256 by the end of the month. The lowest point was at 242, but towards the end of the month, prices picked up slightly.
The volume weighted average prices (VWAP) for Nordic hydro fell by 24% on average and reached levels last seen in July.
