As part of our Monthly updates, we today release the Nordic Hydro GO Update for the month of December 2022.
2022 and 2023 vintages of Nordic Hydro have experienced lower activity and a price drop compared to previous months. The changes for the month have been the following: -189 Eurocents/MWh for the 2022 vintage (-23%) and -157 Eurocents/MWh for the 2023 vintage (-21%)
As for the 2024 vintage, it ends the month at +11 Eurocents/MWh, equal to +2%.
The VWAP monthly price is lower compared to November, however, the price is higher than all the other four years of production since the beginning of the year.
The spread between the different production years moved a lot, and the 22/23 spread ended up at -10.8 Eurocents in December because of a more significant decrease for 2022 production.
