The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy has published a guidance document regarding the generation of low-carbon electricity if there is no Brexit deal. The document covers the recognition of Guarantees of Origin in a post-brexit “no deal” scenario. Although this scenario is unlikely, it delivers a clear signal to businesses and stakeholders of what to expect if such a scenario should occur.
