GE Energy Financial Services recently announced in a press release that it has invested more than 15 billion dollars in renewable energy projects globally. The press release highlights their $5 billion investment over the last three years, far exceeding the 1 billion they committed to back in 2014. The growth in RE investments from the group seems to be exponential, with the company reporting that RE investments are outpacing fuel investments by 2:1.
