Biomethane bridge between east and west Europe? CEHG and the new green gas exchange

Early in April 2022, the Central European Gas Hub launched a platform for the marketing of green gas, including biomethane and eventually hydrogen.

The CEGH is a consolidated company of the Austrian entities OMV group Gmb, Winer Boerse AG and Slovakian network operator Eustream. They are a leading gas trading hub for Central and Eastern Europe, achieving almost 750 TWh of natural gas trade in 2021.
