Last week, the UK government confirmed that the Green Gas Support Scheme (GGSS) and Green Gas Levy (GGL) will launch in Q3 this year, while Ofgem released their annual report for the Non-Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive (NDRHI) 2020-2021.
Note: not to be confused with the Green Gas Certification Scheme, or GGCS.
A proposal to provide support for renewable gases beyond the NDRHI was put forward for public consultation, which was open for more than two months (28 April to 7 July 2020).
This was in addition to the changes the government implemented to account for the slowdown of activity during the pandemic,
