Statkraft and the Dusseldorf based Naturstrom AG have signed an additional long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for 50 MWp, to 2031.
The agreement is expect to result in the delivery of 600 GWh green electricity supply to Naturstrom's household customers.
The energy will come from Schornhof solar park in Bavaria, which is set to come online later this year. In July, Statkraft signed an agreement with PV company Anumar. The funding of the solar park comes from both PPAs and EEG (German subsidy) tenders, although the Naturstrom agreement is subsidy free.
