In 2018, the UK exported 12.9 TWh REGOs by ex-domain cancellations (EDC). Almost all volumes, i.e. 12.2 TWh were cancelled in the UK on behalf of Spanish counterparts, of which 8.56 TWh were from biomass*, 2.67 TWh were wind, and 0.94 TWh from solar.
So far in 2019, i.e. until beginning of August, a total of 9.3 TWh REGOs were exported from the UK. The largest destination countries were the Netherlands (3.97 TWh), Spain (2.80 TWh), Denmark (1.17 TWh) and Italy (0.66 TWh).
