For the first time, statistics on UK REGOs for export have been published by Ofgem. The statistics detail Ex-Domain Cancellations (EDC - i.e. cancellations of GOs in one country to be used in another) of UK Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGOs). Consequently, AIB has updated their EDC statistics, accessible here.
During the first 7 months of 2019, 9.3 TWh REGOs were used for EDC. In comparison, 12.85 TWh REGOs were cancelled through EDC over the entire year 2018. Note that the statistics refer to the date of export of the certificates, rather than the production date of the ...
