Companies and investment funds are heavily investing in Spanish renewable energy

Siemens has recently announced the merger with Gamesa (link to our article). Already in 2015 Cerberus, an investment fund with headquarters in New York, acquired the Spanish renewable energy company Renovalia. In the same year the American multinational private equity firm KKR acquired 80% stake in Gestamp Solar, a solar PV developer and operator.
