Greenshamed Amazon jumps back into corporate renewables market

After being accused of abandoning 100% renewable energy goal by Greenpeace, the tech giant Amazon signs three new deals in the corporate renewables market.

According to a Greenpeace report ‘Clicking Clean Virginia – The Dirty Energy Powering Data Center Alley’ released in February 2019, some of Amazon’s most important datacenters in the US state of Virginia, were powered by only 12% renewable energy.
