Trading activity increased in March, with the traded volumes by our data partners rising by 8%. Trading was centred around GOs from 2018 and 2019 production. Both vintages saw comparable total volumes traded, whereas 2019 production saw trades with higher average volumes. The price decrease continued throughout most of March and GO prices for all vintages fell by 26% on average. The volume weighted average prices (VWAPs) for 2018 production ranged between 35 and 74 Eurocent/MWh, depending on the technology. GOs from 2019 saw VWAPs in the range of 83 to 93 Eurocent/MWh. The average price fall from the beginning of January for all GOs reached 73% at the end of March.
