Trading slowed slightly in February, with the number of trades by our data partners decreasing by 22%. Trading was centred around GOs from 2018- and 2019 production, with similar volumes traded for both production years. Vintages 2020 and 2021 saw fewer number of trades, but with larger average volumes. The price decrease accelerated in February and GO prices for all vintages fell by 29% on average. The volume weighted average prices (VWAPs) for 2018 production ranged between 65 to 99 Eurocent/MWh depending on the technology. GOs from 2019 saw VWAPs ranging from 101 to 130 Eurocent/MWh. The average price decrease from the beginning of January for all GOs reached 64% and prices are currently back to similar levels seen one year ago (March 2018).
