Spanish suppliers rushing to offer GO volumes ahead of national export deadline

The OTC market for GOs saw heavy supply side offers from Spain at the start of this week. According to Spanish regulation for Guarantees of Origin, as cited in the Domain Protocol for Spain, “requests for the issue and export of guarantees of origin for month “m” should be submitted before the last day of the month “m +8”, and in any case before 31 January of the next year.”
