Luxembourg to start with periodical auctions of renewable GOs receiving support

The Institut Luxembourgeois de Régulation (ILR), the mandated issuing body for Guarantees of Origin in Luxemburg, will start with periodical auctions of GOs for electricity produced from renewable energy sources. The first auction is set to January 15th – 17th 2019, covering GOs from February and March 2018. A second auction for GOs produced in Q2 – Q4 2018 will be held towards the end of January. The GOs have been issued for production devices receiving public support in Luxembourg. The auctions are open to any account holder within an EECS registry.
