Shell Energy Europe signs Italian solar PPA with UK fund manager Octopus

The UK fund manager Octopus has signed a five-year PPA with Shell Energy Europe covering 70.5 MW of unsubsidized Italian solar. The deal covers six of Octopus’ 10 Italian solar projects currently under construction, the combined projects have a total capacity of 173 MW. The projects are expected to be completed in early 2019.
