Status of AIB Observers and formal applicants

AIB’s latest newsletter details the status of AIB Observers and applicants as of October 2018. Notable changes this year include:

LAGIE from Greece will split into two entities: The Energy exchange and DAPEEP. DAPEEP becomes the Issuing Body for Guarantees of Origin and the Competent Authority for Disclosure. DAPEEP has applied for AIB membership. The GO supply potential is estimated to 4 – 14 TWh, depending on whether there will be restrictions on production devices receiving government support.
