Commissioned renewable power plants in Scandinavia – August and September

Four hydropower plants and one onshore wind park were commissioned in Norway during August and September: 

• Storøy onshore wind - installed capacity 6.4 MW / estimated annual production 25 GWh.
• Fiskløysa  hydropower - 5.1 MW / 18.2 GWh
• Vengåa  hydropower - 4.55 MW / 11 GWh
  
• Langedal hydropower - 3.0 MW / 12.6 GWh
  
• Sandneselva hydropower - 2.29 MW / 6.8 GWh
  

The combined capacity of the commissioned power plants equates to 21.34 MW, resulting in an annual estimated production of 73.6 GWh.

The cumulative additions to the installed capacity in Norway including September 2018 amounted to 987.5 MW, with an expected annual production of 3.5 TWh. Of which, 578.4 MW was installed hydropower with an expected annual production of 2.1 TWh, followed by 409.2 MW onshore wind, with an estimated annual output of 1.4 TWh.
