We observe a decrease across the board in Dutch Guarantees of Origin Statistics for August. July production totaled 840.9 GWh, a decrease of 7.5% from the 908.9 GWh produced in June (production statistics are only available from the previous month). Production was dominated by wind, with 417.7 GWh produced followed by 257.2 GWh Biomass.

Imports were significantly lower in August, with 2,000.4 GWh imported, corresponding to a 45.5% decrease from the 3672.8 GWh imported in May. The largest imported GO volumes came from Sweden (606.6 GWh), Italy (558.1 GWh) and Denmark (311 GWh). Wind GOs made up the lion’s share of imports, with a total of 1,058.3 GWh imported (a decrease of 45.7% from July). 349.9 GWh wind was imported from Italy followed by 277 GWh from Denmark and 105.9 GWh from Sweden.
