Energimyndigheten has released their short-term forecast of the Swedish energy system during the period 2018 – 2021. The report looks at the energy use and energy supply. The following breakdown focuses on Swedish electricity production. The full report can be accessed here [in Swedish].

Total net electricity production in Sweden during 2017 was 159 TWh. Until 2019, electricity generation is expected to increase to slightly more than 164 TWh, and then decrease to approximately 158 TWh by 2021.
