Growth in new wind power installations is slowing down as the Austrian feed-in tariff (FiT) rate is falling. The FiT was lowered from 8.95 Eurocent/kWh to 8.2 Eurocent/kWh in 2018, a reduction of 8.4%. This reduction is substantially higher compared to previous years [1]. The FiT will be lowered another 1% to 8.12 Eurocent/kWh in 2019.
