NVE and Energimyndigheten recently released their quarterly report on the el-certificate market. During the fourth quarter of 2017, 0.8 TWh were approved in Norway and 0.3 TWh in Sweden.
As of the 1st of January 2018, power plants with annual production of 20.3 TWh were eligible for el-certs. Plants with an annual production of 15.1 TWh have been built in Sweeden, and 5.2 TWh in Norway. Sweden and Norway are closing in on the joint target of 28.4 TWh of new renewable electricity production within 2020.
