French power demand falls by 5.2 percent

French electricity consumption fell 5.2 percent in October 2017 compared with October 2016 as warmer-than-expected weather curbed electricity consumption. The average temperature in Oct. 2017 was 2.3 degrees Celsius higher than Oct. 2016, RTE said in its monthly report.
