EEX acquires 100% shares of Powernext

The European Energy Exchange (EEX) becomes the sole owner of the French-based Powernext, by acquiring the last 12.3% of Powernext’s shares from 3GRT and EDF. All parties involved are optimistic about this acquisition and believe that it will bring strategic synergies while keeping the close cooperation with former shareholders.
