The Irish company Mainstream Renewable Power is planning to launch the first large-scale wind farm in Ghana, the 525 million USD Ayitepa project with 225 MW capacity. The project will locate at 60 km east of Accra (Ghana’s capital), providing 4% of its domestic electricity demand.
