Electricity and gas consumption increased in Austria during H1 2017

Electricity consumption increased by 1.4 per cent to 35,700 GWh in the first half of 2017 when compared to 2016. The main factors for the increase were colder weather in January and February, and also due to a pickup in economic growth.
