Statoil finishing up world’s first floating windfarm

The Statoil project, Hywind, with a £200million price tag off the coast of Scotland just took delivery of the final turbine in what will be the world’s first commercial floating wind farm. With a total of five 175-meter-tall turbines the company aims to power 20 000 homes when in full operation.
