Kite Power project secures £2m equity investment

Kite Power System based in Scotland, just secured a £2m equity investment from the Scottish Investment Bank (SIB), the investment arm of Scottish Enterprise, to aid them in the process of bringing the concept to market.

The company has developed energy generators which features two kites that fly attached to turbines that generate energy as the kites alternate. Each system today, has a capacity of 500kW.
