The three countries signed the agreement that will increase the production capacity of offshore wind power in the world from 13.8 GW today to 60 GW within a ten-year period. The three countries vow to work with more than 25 private companies, DONG Energy being one of them, to increase investment in offshore wind. The agreement comes after 10 EU countries entered another agreement to boost offshore wind power, last year. WindEurope, a trade association is now working on extending the new agreement to cover the remaining 7 countries.
