Salesforce reached their carbon neutral goal, 33 years early

The software company committed to RE100 in 2015, and set the goal to reach net zero carbon emissions by 2050. Salesforce have reached the latter target in record time.

Salesforce cooperated with third parties to analyze all emissions related to their offices, servers and user activities, to get the comprehensive overview of how to make the shift. In addition, the company made the software platform increasingly efficient by creating a “carbon-neutral cloud”.  

Our customers can now rest assured that when they use Salesforce they are carbon-neutral as well…Salesforce’s “multi-tenant platform” enabled...
