The European Investment Bank together with Eiffel Investment Group launched the Eiffel Energy Transition fund which will provide bridge financing for renewable energy projects.
France-based Eiffel Investment Group said the renewable energy developers of any technology, and operators of different energy efficiency projects, such as energy storage and low energy lighting, would be able to able to apply for funds. The fund is aimed at projects in France, and the rest of Europe.
Fabrice Dumonteil, President of the Eiffel Investment Group said that the“Eiffel Investment Group’s strategy is to develop financing tools with high economic and social added value. Financing the energy transition in one of our priorities.” The group is providing €100 million to the Energy Transition fund.
