EU Council gives guidance on strengthening ties between Energy and Climate diplomacy.

A recent press release from the Council of the EU gives guidelines to implementing a stronger link between EU climate and energy diplomacy. Pointing out the similarities in focus areas and the close ties between the energy and climate diplomacy disciplines, with two thirds of greenhouse-gas emissions originating from energy production it stresses the need for joining up actions to reach their goals collectively.
