EEX held the 30th auction for Guarantees of Origin (GoOs), with the book opening on 9th March 2022 and order matching on 16th March 2022 for December 2021 production GoOs. EEX has started auctioning GOs since September 2019, on behalf of the French Minister for an Ecological and Solidary Transition. The auction is cleared and secured by the European Commodity Clearing (ECC) and the revenues from auctions are dedicated to a special fund for the energy transition.
