On the Italian island of Sardinia, a 1.2 MW hybrid microgrid is including the less common concentrating solar power (CSP), in addition of the more widely used solar photovoltaic (PV) panels.
The microgrid is expected to be completed in April and run by ENAS, which also manages the region’s water supply.
