An online event “Scaling up biomethane in the European Union”, organised by the EBA on 7 December 2021, has achieved closer collaboration between the European Commission (EC) for Energy and biomethane private sectors.

At the event, the Biomethane Declaration, agreed by 28 European companies and organisations, was proposed to Kadri Simson, European Commissioner for Energy.
