GO market overview March 2021

• Nordic Hydro 2021 traded at 22.3 Eurocent/MWh
• 2020/2021 spreads remain above 10 Eurocent
• Activity lower than predicted with the slight increase in March

Trading activity registered with our data partners in March increased slightly when compared to last month, with an increase in transactions (+4%) however registered volumes marginally decreased (1%).  The recorded transactions associated with 2020 production (39%) and forward year production (38%) were almost at parity. 

The current year Nordic Hydro price dropped slightly trading at 22.3 Eurocent/MWh marginally down from the February price of 23.3 Eurocent/MWh. Similar to the previous month, most trades appeared to focus on 2020 production vintages, however, there was a significant increase in future production GO trades in March.  Mov...
