Main points for last month:
- Nordic Hydro 2021 23.6 Eurocent/MWh.
- Current year/2022 spread for is around 20 Eurocent, with future year spreads decreasing.
- Wind sold at a slight discount to Nordic Hydro.
Trading activity registered with our data partners was low, similar to December 2020 in the number of transactions.
Current year 2021 Nordic Hydro (NH) started January at 23.6 Eurocent/MWh which is slightly down on the 2021 NH price offered in December of last year (24.6 Eurocent). The bulk of the activity recorded were for 2020 transactions, with market players likely keen to liquidate their expiring holdings. Only Wind and EU Hydro (as well as Nordic Hydro) saw multiple trades in January.
