Main points for June:
- Trading volumes and transactions were down from May.
- Major products (Nordic Hydro, Wind) traded down from last month.
- Muted activity expected for the summer months.
For the first time this year, no Nordic Hydro 2019 trades were observed for the month, although EU Hydro 2019 traded at 6 Eurocents (a 33% discount on Nordic Hydro 2019 prices last month). After a slight recovery of 2020 Nordic Hydro and EU Wind, prices dropped to below 20 Eurocents.
June trading activity was muted, the volume and number of trades compared to May reduced 50%.
The number of trades conducted was evenly split between future years and current/prior years. Hydro GOs (both continental EU and Nordic) accounted for 80% of the total transactions.
