The Dutch Wind GO prices continued to drop in May, with current year prices decreasing by about 14% from 1.75 euros at the start of the month to about 1.50 euros at month's end. A more in-depth look at historical prices is available to subscribers of our Netherlands Market maker quotations add-on.

When compared to April 2020, the issuance of renewable Dutch GOs was down by 18% in May 2020 with 1.90 TWh issued. However, cumulative Dutch GO issuance to May 2020 increased by 31% compared to the same period in 2019.

The cancellation of renewable energy Dutch GOs was 25% lower in May 2020 when compared to the previous month. Cumulative cancellations until May 2020 increased by 17.6%...
