CP18 REGOs prices crash to under 12 pence

The price of REGOs for Compliance Period (CP) 18 (REGOs produced from April 2019 to Mar 2020) has crashed from more than 60 pence in late 2019 to little more than 10 pence, as seen below.

The reason for the price drop is predominantly due to the drop in prices for EU EECS GOs. The drop in EU EECS GO prices coupled with attractive CFD and FiT levy exemptions for suppliers using certain types of EU GOs, has made it more attractive for UK suppliers to use EU GOs for Fuel Mix Disclosure (FMD).
