The Dutch government is shifting towards subsidy-free wind projects in the Netherlands, based on information released by the Dutch Economic Affairs and Climate change minister, Eric Wiebes on 17 February 2020.

In the new calculations, the value of the guarantees of origin (GOs) are factored into the threshold price for subsidy payout.
