Construction completed on 500 MW solar PV project in Spain

Iberdrola SA has completed the construction of the 500 MW Nunez de Balboa solar photovoltaic (PV) park in Spain and is expected to be online in the first trimester of 2020.

The Spanish energy giant said Friday it recently received commissioning permit from the ministry for ecological transition, while Spain’s grid operator Red Electrica de Espana (REE) has already initiated energisation tests.
