Breakdown of AIB Q3 statistics

  • Q1-Q3 2019 saw a 20% cumulative increase in issuance and 19% increase in cancellations of renewable GOs. 
  • International trading activity grew 17% to 403 TWh while expired volumes increased. 
  • On the backdrop of French auctions in Q3 2019, issuance increased 33% while cancellation was 14% more than Q3 2018.

The following graph depicts transaction statistics for the period January till September 2019 compared to the same period last two years. GO issuance increased by 20% (87 TWh) while cancellation increased by 19% (85 TWh).
