Representatives from Britain and the European Union said Thursday that they had reached an outline Brexit deal after days of intense negotiations — though it must still be formally approved by the bloc and ratified by the European and UK Parliaments.
There are serious doubts as to whether the agreement will be approved by British lawmakers; Prime Minister Boris Johnson will require much support to push any deal past a divided Parliament, with the two main opposition parties already rejecting the deal.
